Louisiana is excited to partner with City of Refuge Atlanta, a leader in social transformation, to establish City of Refuge New Orleans. Louisiana Church of God Administrative Bishop, Dr. Derwood Perkins, appointed Bishop Terry & Trisha Ray as directors of this new outreach in February 2022. The Ray’s have been working tirelessly to lay the groundwork to launch this transformational ministry. Your prayerful and financial partnership is critical to reach individuals and families in crisis.

About City of Refuge Atlanta
City of Refuge was founded in 1997 by Bruce Deel with the mission to transform the lives of individuals and communities in Atlanta and beyond. However, the ministry was catapulted to the national spotlight when asked to house individuals displaced following Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Today the organization resides in a warehouse that was graciously donated in the 30314 neighborhood of Atlanta, one of the poorest and most crime-ridden areas in the nation. Since inhabiting the “Where Good Works” center, City of Refuge has helped over 20,000 people across the country and internationally. The organization has created several programs designed to provide an impact in areas such as: housing, youth development, health & wellness, and vocation. City of Refuge is a leader in the business of social transformation and continuously works to empower and equip individuals with the tools to succeed. We are excited to partner with City of Refuge Atlanta to help transition individuals in crisis. To learn more about City of Refuge visit cityofrefugeatl.org
