National Sanctity of Human Life Day is an observance initiated by President Ronald Reagan in 1984 typically proclaimed on or near the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade, which is January 22. Next Sanctity of Human Life Sunday will be January 19, 2020.
Pro-Life Program Ideas:
- Host a Birthday Bash in January (designate tables for each birthday month). Bring baby gifts to donate.
- Host a Baby Shower.
- Invite someone to share from your local Crisis Pregnancy Center.
- Display a baby bed in your foyer and collect items for the Crisis Pregnancy Center.
- Participate in the Bottles Beyond Borders. Bottles can be picked up at most Crisis Pregnancy Centers.
Option 1: Distribute on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday returned on an appointed Sunday (preferably 30-45 days).
Option 2: Distribute on Mother’s Day and returned on Father’s Day.
